Spider-Man: No Way Home finally made it to the cinemas and theaters with a bucketful of happy faces and high profits. The studio reportedly said that it exceeded their original estimated audience, garnering a total of $260 million at US and Canadian theaters.

The web-slinging action movie snagged the second spot of the all-time in domestic openings of Hollywood Films. Its cousins Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War were first and second place, respectively.

In addition to that massive success, ticket sales of “No Way Home” soared to $340.8 million, leading to a global total of $600.8 million, this surpasses Sony’s forecast of the movie ending in third place with $253 million and a worldwide total of $587.2 million.

Compared to its predecessors, Avengers: Endgame still holds the highest record of opening weekend in the United States and Canada, with its debut of $357 million back in 2019. Meanwhile, Avengers: Infinity War lost its second place to Spider-Man: No Way Home with a total of nearly $258 million in 2018.
